MCQUEENThe family of the late Danny McQueen would like to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy, flowers and cards, received following their recent bereavement. Also, to Father David Borland of St Andrews, for the beautiful Funeral Mass and Service. Special thanks to Danny's cousin Amy McQueen for her wonderful rendition of Danny Boy. Also to all the pupils and staff at St Joseph's College. The guard of honour for Danny's coffin as it passed the school was a wonderful gesture. And to Tom Boyd of Glasgow Celtic Football Club for his attendance. Many thanks to Mark Jardine, and all staff at William Jardine for all their kindness and help. Also to all who attended the service at St Andrews and who donated to the memorial fund set up in memory of Danny. A total of £900 was raised which will be shared between St Joseph's College, Nithsdale Athletics and Dumfries and County Golf Club. All have very kindly agreed to set up memorial cup events for local youths in memory of Danny. Finally our family would like to leave a farewell message for DannyFarewell our precious loving son, Your life without us has now begun, For ever it will hurt, with every heart beat, Until fate decides, when again, we'll meet, For every day without you the heartache will grow, For each and every hour, the tears will flow, For every passing minute, we'll long for your embrace, For each single second, we'll miss your smiling face, For your passing has left us sadness and sorrow, Always to continue for each tomorrow, But remember our love for you will never depart, For you live within us, until the last beat of our hearts
